CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

FOR DOG BOX USE ON CARGO CARRIER

WHEN VEHICLE IS MOVING, fully open side vents and close door vents. This will help keep the dust and fumes from entering through the rear of animal carrier. If more airflow is desired, slightly open the rear vents. KEEP REAR VENTS LESS OPEN THAN SIDE VENTS. If rear vents are open as much or more than side vents, it may allow dirty air from behind vehicle to be pulled into animal compartment.

WHEN PARKED for short periods of time, open all vents on box and shut off vehicle engine. Park in shaded area.

  • Do not use this animal carrier when outside temperature is above 850 Fahrenheit.

  • Animal carrier is not designed for prolonged stationary confinement

  • Do not use this system on dry, dusty roads.

When using animal carrier on outside rear of vehicles, make sure the exhaust pipe is routed out the side of vehicle, preferably next to passenger side rear tire, pointed straight out horizontal or slightly down and out. Also recommended on sport utility vehicle users is an air deflector mounted above the rear doors that forces air down the rear glass and on top of animal carrier. Never use exhaust outlet routed directly out rear bumper.
