OPERATION
LUBRICATION

Due to shipping restrictions, your carrier does not come pre-greased. There are three (3) grease fittings that must be greased: one where it tilts up, and one in each arm, where it swings out.

LOADING GUIDE
1. Place cargo or load evenly across deck when closed and in transport position.
2.

The maximum closed load rating is governed by the actual tongue weight rating of your vehicle’s hitch.  If hitch is labeled 500 pounds “Tongue weight”, (not tow weight) that would be at the vehicle’s hitch.  As you move the weight back from the hitch, the hitch load rating is reduced, due to the distance out.  At 3 feet back from a 500 pound hitch, the load would be 300 pounds, (not including the weight of the carrier).

3. With carrier in open position, the maximum weight limit is 250 pounds, evenly placed.  Exceeding 250 pounds could result in damage to the carrier.
