KARGOHOLDER PRODUCTS WARRANTY

The tool box workmanship is warranted for the lifetime of the product, providing the customer, at his expense, returns the product back to the manufacturer for workmanship repairs. After repairs, the product will be returned, at the expense of the customer.

Warranty on all other products is to be free of defects in materials for a period of one year from the original purchase from the manufacturer. This warranty covers the cost of the defective part and does not cover the cost of removal, installation, or other incidental or consequential charges or damages. This warranty is void if any damage to the product is due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or improper installation or any other use contrary to the instructions with the product. Warranty will be prorated based on the length of time. Warranty products should be returned to the manufacturer at the expense of the sender and a credit will be issued for the product and freight expense upon inspection of the product. Any product found to be non-defective will not receive credit and will be returned to the sender at their expense.

Acceptance Instructions

We make every effort to insure that your box is shipped in excellent condition.  However, due to rough handling by the freight carriers, damage sometimes occurs in transit.  It is your responsibility to inspect the box upon arrival and to file claims for damages to the freight carrier at that time, you usually will have up to 14 days to do this.   We will assist you in any way we can in filing your claim or estimating damage costs.  Please bear in mind that when we turn the merchandise over to the carrier, our responsibility for any claims or damage ends.

Custom Ordering Limitations

The customer is responsible for measuring and making sure that the box will fit in the vehicle or trailer.  With so many different accessories such as bed liners, rails, bed mats, etc. we have no way of knowing for sure if the box will fit your truck.  We cannot be held responsible for improper fit.  We will ship the size that you order. 

If a customer is not pleased with the box they have custom ordered when it arrives, we will refund the cost of the box minus a 20% restocking fee, however, we will not refund shipping charges to the customer, or the cost of returning it back to us.

Payments and Freight charges

All boxes must be paid in full at the time the order is placed, unless otherwise arranged.   Payment may be made with a personal check, allowing time for bank clearance.  All orders are shipped prepaid freight. Shipments will be billed according to the actual cost to ship.  

Shipping Choices

On the smaller boxes, you have a choice to have your order shipped FedEx Ground or Truck Freight.  If boxes are ordered with our carrier you may choose truck freight and have your carrier assembled and box attached to the carrier.  Using Truck Freight will normally cost $55.00 extra or MORE if shipped to a residential address than shipments to business address.  Instructions to hold on the dock and call the customer usually result in an additional charge of $20.00.  It is usually less expensive to use FedEx Ground if you want to receive your order at your home, although that will mean you will have to assemble your carrier and attach the box yourself.  No COD shipments will be processed.  

Dog Box Suitability

The customer is responsible for determining the suitability of any particular dog box.  We have no way of knowing all of the conditions you will encounter while using your dog box as to length of trip, climate conditions, or size and number of dogs, etc…
